Reena is Nrutya Visharad and also done masters in Kathak (M.A. Kathak ) from Bharati Vidyapeeth deemed University, Pune. 14 years ago, Her journey in Kathak started under the guidance of Guru, Tejaswini Sathe in Pune. Reena has been showcasing new productions and creating a unique voice and style in Kathak. As a teacher, Reena devotes time and energy into developing a new generation of dancers who are dedicated to Kathak.

Reena’s graceful movements and her delicate yet communicative expressions have won the same type admiration from both laymen and specialists. Reena’s performances have taken her across the globe. She tours with new choreographic works and conducts workshops. In addition to being an accomplished dancer, Reena has received many accolades of national and international acclaim which recognize her excellence as a performer.

At the forefront of the new generation of Kathak dancers, Reena represents the future of one of the Indian classical dance forms “Kathak”. Reena has been passionate about communicating through dance. Her unique dance style is an honest result of her undying desire, self-motivation and devotion towards Kathak. Her refreshing approach to Kathak has won her many honours and accolades from dance lovers around the world. Being a firm believer in maintaining the integrity of tradition, Reena foresees and works on her creativity without compromising on the tradition of the dance form.
